A tour to see the elephants at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the namesake animals at the Giraffe Centre and at Karen Blixen museum to learn more about Karen Blixen’s life while living in Kenya. Included on this tour from Nairobi that showcases Kenyan wildlife within city bounds.
Pick up from the hotel at 0800hrs and drive to the Giraffe Center to learn more about the endangered Rothschild giraffe and get a chance to feed them. (Fee included)
At 1030hrs, we head to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to learn more about the orphaned baby elephants. (Fee included)
1200hrs: we drive to Karen Blixen coffee garden for some sumptuous lunch (fee included)
1400hrs: our visit to the Karen Blixen museum to learn more about Karen Blixen’s life while she was living in Kenya.
1530hrs: Visit Kazuri beads Factory, “Kazuri” which means small and beautiful in Swahili, is a factory where they make ceramic beads made by hands to produce beautiful jewelry clay and provide employment to over 300 single mothers in Kenya. Get a chance to buy some gifts to take home.
1650hrs: Return to the hotel
Depart from the hotel at 0930hrs and head to the Kenya national museum to learn about the Kenyan History and culture and learn more about Kenya’s wildlife. Lunch on own account.
At 1430hrs, we visit the Bomas of Kenya and learn about the different Kenyan tribes and folksongs.
At 1600hrs, we visit the Maasai Market for shopping.
Returning to the hotel after shopping.
